Deathstorm is a villainous entity in DC Comics, primarily associated with the Firestorm character and the Black Lantern Corps.

He first appeared in *Blackest Night* # (July ). Deathstorm is essentially a corrupted, undead version of Firestorm, specifically the fusion of Ronnie Raymond and Professor Martin Stein. He emerged during the "Blackest Night" event when Nekron, the lord of the undead, resurrected deceased heroes and villains as Black Lanterns.

As a Black Lantern, Deathstorm possesses a twisted mockery of Firestorm's transmutation powers, capable of manipulating matter on a subatomic level. However, his intent is purely destructive, using his abilities to inflict pain and death, fueled by the black rings of the Black Lantern Corps. He is a significant threat due to his connection to the emotional spectrum and his ability to generate black power rings.
